This was easily one of my favorite songs off Padded Room, and it’s good to see a music video for it. Some people were let down by it, but I don’t think the video is bad at all, it’s not amazing by any means, but I enjoyed watching it. The model in the video is Milani Rose, and she’s pretty hot, so that was a plus. I don’t really watch music videos often no matter how good they are, so I don’t know what some people expect when it comes to music videos, especially when you’re working on a limited budget. These days everyone thinks they are a director, producer, artist, etc and always thinks they could do things better if they had the opportunity, but it’s a lot easier said then done. Enjoy the vid for what it is, and if you still haven’t figured out what this song is about, then maybe the video will help you a little bit.

KarmaloopTV interviews Joe Budden. He speaks on breaking into the industry, the state of hip hop, and his new album Padded Room. The album just came out February 24th, and the fans are loving it. Budden just posted this song on his website’s forums, and the official video should be coming soon. This is a single from Padded Room, which will be here February 24th. After hearing this song, and seeing theories about the lyrics, I have a whole new appreciation for it. Not everything you hear in the song is what you’d think at first, but everything means something, according to Joe Budden himself. This song has people trying to guess what he’s really talking about with certain parts, and it’s interesting to hear what they’re coming up with. Can you figure out who “The Man Walkin On Water“, “Bum With A Mansion“, “Virgin With Aids“, or the “Man With No Ears” are? There’s a lot of crazy hidden messages in the song, that I’m still clueless about, but you can read more theories on the JoeBuddenTv.com Forums, if you wanna get some ideas.
Joe Budden and Joell Ortiz had a foot race after Joell Ortiz kept claiming he could beat Budden in a foot race, and even went as far as saying he could beat any rapper in a race. The whole situation is comedy, and it’s always funny as hell seeing these 2 argue. The race itself took a lot longer then any race should ever take, with a countless amount of false starts, and re-do’s, but it was still entertaining. I was surprised by how fast Joell really was lol check out the video to see who won. I embedded the videos in HD so they might take a while to load, go to JBTV Youtube Channel, to see them in lower quality.

So the single for Padded Room has finally leaked. At first listen I wasn’t really impressed, but the song is starting to grow on me, but I still think these 2 could’ve put together a better track, but maybe I just had my expectations set too high. Be sure to pre-order Padded Room due out February 24th, 09. Listen/Download the song below and judge for yourself. Finally got the dirty version uploaded.

For those that don’t know yet, Joe Budden’s album “Padded Room” was pushed back to February 09 by his label. There’s rumors going around that Joe Budden and The Game, have recently collabed for a track that is going to be the lead single for “Padded Room”, so they pushed it back to give them more time to promote the album on a bigger scale. This rumor seems very likely, due to the fact Budden and Game recently ended their beef on stage when Game reached out to him to come perform (See It Here). They can also be seen HERE together chillin, and Game rocking Budden’s labels t-shirt. I’m a fan of both of these guys, so if it turns out to be true, it should be interesting to hear. I was disappointed when the album got pushed back, cause it happens often with any Joe Budden release, but at least this time around it wasn’t a total loss. “The Halfway House” is going to be a digital release only, and you can purchase it from www.amalgamdigital.com on October 28th, which is the day Padded Room was originally set to come out. Luckily for the people that pre-ordered “Padded Room” before it got pushed back, were given an option of changing your order to getting a limited edition hard copy of “The Halfway House”, so I can’t wait to get my copy of that, along with the shirt I ordered.
Don’t forget to check out Joe Budden TV on youtube. There’s a lot of funny shit on there, and you get to take a look at the random daily events that happen in his life.
You can now pre-order “Padded Room”, Joe Budden’s long awaited, and highly anticipated, 2nd album. You will receive the cd by the official release date, which is February 24th, 2009. The album was pushed back from its original release date, and he released “The Halfway House” to hold the fans over till Padded Room comes out. The reason for the push back was he had the opportunity to record a new single ft. The Game, and the song is titled “The Future”. As far as pre-ordering goes you have 2 options, $12 (+ shipping) for just the cd, or $20 (+ shipping) for an autographed copy of the album + the official Padded Room t-shirt. I’m not sure if the album cover is staying the same, and I’m also not sure what t-shirt they will be sending out. Paying for either option is easy using paypal, and as I expect with any Joe Budden project, will be well worth the money. We’ve all downloaded more then enough free songs/mixtapes from him over the last few years, so if you’re a fan of Joe’s, or a fan of some real hip hop, support one of the realest emcees in the game. I know I’ll be waiting for my autographed copy, and t-shirt when the release date comes around.
Joe Budden is having a Live Studio Webcast, on August 21st, at 4:00pm (Eastern Time). It is said that you will get to watch him put the finishing touches on his new album “Padded Room”, live while he’s in the studio. There will also be a chatroom going, and you can try to ask some questions if they have a Q and A session. All you have to do is go to www.amalgamdigital.com/TV at that specific time, and watch the live stream.
*UPDATE* If you missed the live webcast, you can now see the recording in full at
