This is the song that really made me start checking for Charles Hamilton, he just turned 21 years old, and is signed to Interscope Records. It’s a good song, and a pretty good video to go along with it, and a Lacey Duvalle cameo near the end lol. I had heard his name thrown around on some blogs before, but never really paid any attention to him, until I heard him freestyle off the top with Joe Budden (see here). Then I heard the Brooklyn Girls song, after I heard it was played on Entourage, and I been listening to his music ever since. He recently completed what was called “The Hamiltonization Process“, where he put out 7 mixtapes and an album, for FREE, with each one releasing 2 weeks after the other. That’s a lot of material in a short amount of time. I still haven’t got a chance to hear every song, but I’ve checked out a good amount of it, and while there is a lot of hit or miss tracks, he definitely shows a lot of potential.
