I made an upgrade to my account, and it didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped, so there’s been some down time these past couple days. I’m working on getting everything back to normal right now, finally got it sorted out. I’m currently looking around for a new wordpress theme, so hopefully I can find a new one that I like more then my current one.

I just read an interesting article about something called Structured Procrastination. It’s described as a strategy in which you avoid doing something important, by doing smaller yet still useful tasks, so your time is not completely wasted. The article describes it better then I can, so I’d suggest reading it for more information. I’m definitely a huge procrastinator, even with something as small as this blog. I will sometimes take days to post something that I want to post, just because I don’t feel like typing up a few sentences to describe whatever it is I’m posting about. It’s not because I’m too busy, or because I can’t come up with anything to write about it, it’s just because I’m a really bad procrastinator. I’m gonna try out this method, and see if it helps any, it can’t hurt right? I seriously need to break this habit. I know I’m not the only procrastinator so I wanted to share this link to all my procrastinators out there.

‘Rain of money’ in Indonesia? It’s marketing
Motivational speaker plans to drop cash out of airplane
JAKARTA, Indonesia – If you’re short of cash and don’t mind running in tropical humidity and smog for a few bucks, read on. An Indonesian businessman plans to throw 100 million rupiah (about $10,600) out of an airplane over the capital this Sunday as a publicity stunt to promote his new book.
“I want to create a rain of money in Jakarta,” author and motivational speaker Tung Desem Waringin said. “It’s a little bit crazy, but it’s marketing.”
Police spokesman Col. I Ketut Untung said authorities may not allow the plan to go forward because it could draw huge crowds and cause chaos.
Tens of millions of Indonesians live on less than $1 a day and food and aid giveaways always draw large numbers.
The 42-year-old Tung said instead of opting for regular advertising for his book, he came up with an idea that “will make people happy.”

Agentspits Thoughts: This is a pretty interesting marketing idea, it’s definitely something I’ve never heard of before and something that will get people talking and make people who could use the money happy in the process. He’s definitely taking the term make it rain on em to another level. It would be amazing to be there for this just to see how much commotion it causes, and to pick up a few bucks! Wouldn’t it be something else, if he dropped some copies of his book while he was at it, that would really knock em off their feet.
