Good Karma, Bad Karma Tee By T.I.T.S. AND Dion Primo - Karma

Good Karma Bad Karma

Bought this shirt a couple weeks ago from Karmaloop, which was put out by the brand T.I.T.S. (Two In The Shirt). They used one of the most recognized, and hottest models Karmaloop had to offer to be on this shirt, for their limited edition, exclusive Karmaloop x T.I.T.S. collab tee. The model is named Kelly, and if you’ve browsed Karmaloop before, there is a good chance you have seen her before. I don’t think I would have purchased this shirt if it was another random girl on it, so this was a smart collab for both companies involved. There is 2 other colorways, but this shirt is selling out pretty fast, if you can find it in your size and want to buy it, or anything else on Karmaloop, don’t forget to save by using the discount codes found HERE.

Dion Primo

I also wanted to take this time to post about a good song I heard recently titled “Karma” from an up and coming artist named Dion Primo. He’s a real talented emcee, singer, song writer, and producer that I could definitely see big things happening for, if he gets heard by the right people. You can hear/download the song in the following places, his Myspace, Zshare, or Rapidshare.

Joe Budden vs Ransom Beef Full Recap And Updates

Joe Budden, and Ransom, both from New Jersey, were at one time considered acquaintances, and could be heard on numerous songs together. Their “beef” started when Joe Budden was putting together a collab track for his Mood Muzik 3 mixtape, and he got a verse from Ransom. Budden also put Ransom’s ex partner in rhyme,  Hitchcock, who he was in the group A-Team with until they broke up, on the same record, without Ransom knowing about it beforehand. The song was titled “Family Reunion”, and also featured Fabolous. This beef started at the end of 2007, and we got to hear them go back and forth, and everything was kept on wax. Well here we are, at the end of 2008, and the beef we thought had died out, has resurfaced, and been taken to another level.

I personally think this shit is stupid as hell, especially if something really does happen, there’s gonna be evidence of it all over the internet. The latest update, which you can see above, is Joe Budden stating he is going to take the high road on this beef, and let Ransom have the win.

Here’s the full recap of this battle thus far, from beginning to now.

Joell Ortiz ft. Joe Budden - Move On (Download + Lyrics)

It’s always good when these 2 link up for a track. Real laid back smooth joint, they both came nice, and the song seems to get better every time I hear it. The video above is from Joe Budden TV, Joell and Joe are discussing how the song should be structured, and they have some differences. This song is from Joell Ortiz’s “The Free Agent Mixtape”, not sure about the details on the tape, but it should be good. He’s also working on his next album which is to be named “The Free Agent”. You can hear pt 1 of a recent interview he did with Rapmusic.com here. When pt. 2 of the interview drops, we’ll hear him talk about the group Slaughterhouse, which is him, Budden, Crooked I, and Royce Da 5′9, as well as other topics.

Charles Hamilton - Brooklyn Girls (Music Video)

This is the song that really made me start checking for Charles Hamilton, he just turned 21 years old, and is signed to Interscope Records. It’s a good song, and a pretty good video to go along with it, and a Lacey Duvalle cameo near the end lol. I had heard his name thrown around on some blogs before, but never really paid any attention to him, until I heard him freestyle off the top with Joe Budden (see here). Then I heard the Brooklyn Girls song, after I heard it was played on Entourage, and I been listening to his music ever since. He recently completed what was called “The Hamiltonization Process“, where he put out 7 mixtapes and an album, for FREE, with each one releasing 2 weeks after the other. That’s a lot of material in a short amount of time. I still haven’t got a chance to hear every song, but I’ve checked out a good amount of it, and while there is a lot of hit or miss tracks, he definitely shows a lot of potential. I figured I’d post up the tracklist for the latest mix cd I made for myself in the beginning of the month of December. Every month or 2 I burn a collection of my favorite songs at the time for when I’m drivin around. I named this mix, “Welcome To Heartbreak” after the Kanye song obviously, because it was one of the songs I liked the most at the time, and I just like the way that phrase sounds, I guess you can say I relate to it as well. Unfortunately, I’m not gonna post the songs for download, but you should be able to find them online if you’re interested in hearing any of them. It was a pretty solid line-up of songs, it’s not till after I get to listen to the mix in the car, to see which ones I should have left off, and I wasn’t too disappointed with the selections this month.

Game & Joe Budden

Royce Da 5′9, Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz - Onslaught (Download + Lyrics)

If you haven’t been paying attention to hip hop lately, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5′9, Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I have been talking about doing a project together, and forming a group. This all started with the collab they put together for Joe Budden’s latest release “The Halfway House“, titled “Slaughterhouse“. There’s videos on Joe Budden TV of them in various studios, working with different producers, so it is clear that this project is definitely going down. The song was titled as the group name Slaughterhouse, but I don’t think that is the final name. I’m waiting to hear some more concept songs, with some choruses from these guys, the full cd should be interesting to hear. So far I’m definitely feeling the tracks they put together, every emcee is bringing it.

Point Game

Point Game has made a name for himself on the internet by releasing a countless amount of songs for free download, and solid independently released albums, his latest cd “Hiphopcrisy” was a solid album that I’d recommend it to any hip hop fan, it can be purchased through him on his myspace page. He has been a featured artist of the month on popular website hiphopgame.com, and had songs on video games “NBA Ballers: Phenom” and “Narc”.  I’ve always been a fan of his music, he spits some real life music with solid lyrics, a strong voice, and never holds back on his emotions.

Soleternity

Soleternity has been producing beats for as long as I can remember, and if you’re an emcee who has looked for beats in the past few years on mp3.com or soundclick, there’s a good chance you’ve heard the name before. He has produced beats that have been used by Young Buck, Joe Budden, Lil Scrappy, Bone Crusher, and more, and the list is constantly growing. This guy is definitely making some moves in the industry,  and he ’s only 22 years old. Whether it’s producing, rapping, promoting, doing music videos, or working on his webisode online show, he stays grinding in the music industry. He just released an album with his partner in rhyme Big Mountain, they go by the name of Brotherly Love, and the album is titled “The Prequel”. Got My Hardcopy of The Halfway House (Added All Lyrics)

Halfway House Hardcopy

The mail just arrived, and I got my limited edition hardcopy of “The Halfway House”, and the autographed cd cover that we were promised came separately about a week later. This cd is only being released digitally, and can be purchased on www.amalgamdigital.com for only $8.99. Like any other cd it leaked, and if you can find it, it’s worth a listen, but I will not be posting it here for download. If you’re a loyal Joe Budden fan, or if you hear it and like it,  show your support by purchasing it through the website, or on Itunes. I haven’t got a chance to let the whole cd sink in yet, but so far from what I’ve heard there’s definitely some music in there that makes me proud to be a Joe Budden fan. If you purchase it on the website it comes with 2 bonus tracks. With the packaged I received, it was also confirmed that  the rumors were true and Joe Budden & The Game have infact recorded a song together, which will be the single for “Padded Room” due out Feb. 24th, 2009, and the song is called “The Future”. Well I’m gonna get back to listening to  the cd, CHEAH!!!!!!!!!!

The bidding ended for the hardcopy of The Halfway House that was on ebay, and it went for $80.52 including shipping!!!!
