For those of you that haven’t heard of Grind Time, or didn’t see our previous post on them, it’s The World’s #1 Rap Battle League started by emcee’s for emcee’s. I’ve been a huge fan of Grind Time, and a lot of the rappers involved for as long as I’ve known about the league, and certain battlers based on performances prior to the league’s formation. When I first heard about Battle Of LA 3, I knew I had to be there, and I waited impatiently for a few months till that day finally came. The event, better known as “BOLA 3” was held on New Years Eve at The Airliner, in Los Angeles, and I couldn’t think of a better way for me to have brought in 2010 than being at this event. It was my first time at a Grind Time event, and it was easily one of the funnest nights of my life, a jam packed night of entertainment from start to finish! Grind Time has single-handedly taken the battle scene to new heights, and I look forward to another big year from them. Much love to @LushOne, and everyone else involved in making this event happen! I hope they hold more events in Los Angeles, cause I will definitely be there every time!
If you don’t know what Grind Time is (where the hell have you been?), they are a popular rap battle league, featuring some of the best battlers, and best battles that you will ever see in your life. They host events with a full line up of battles scheduled, in places like Oakland, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, and other major cities around the USA. The battles are released online over time for FREE on Youtube & WorldStarHipHop, and the most historical event yet, “Battle Of The Bay 5” will be released on DVD in December after all the battles have come out. They are continuing to raise the bar with every major event they hold, and it’s been great to witness the growth since the early stages of Grind Time. I support this movement 100% and think it’s some of the best entertainment for every type of hip hop fan out there. Huge shoutout to everyone involved in keeping Grind Time going, from the battlers, the staff, the hosts, the judges, the camera guys, the video editors, photographers, graphic designers, sponsors, and more, for bringing us these great battles. And big ups to @LushOne for shouting out KarmaloopCodes.com, and holding down Grind Time West Coast in a major way!
Picked up a few things for myself from Karmaloop, in the month of August, and figured I’d share them with the site. A pair of Skull Candy “Lowrider” Headphones, and the Dissizit! DxBones IT New Era Hat, and The Registered “D” Tee. Be sure to check out both of these great brands, and if you see anything you like, always remember to save with the codes at KarmaloopCodes.com
Picked up these shirts above recently from Karmaloop. The one on the left is from Obey, and the shirt on the right is from Subconscious Threads featuring none other than Mike Tyson. Don’t forget you can saveĀ save on any Karmaloop purchas with the codes @ KarmaloopCodes.com
Every now and then the rappers from the JoeBuddenTv.com forums get together, and organize a board collab. This is only the 2nd one I’ve been on, and it’s definitely fun to drop a quick verse for these collabs when I can. I think this is one of the best ones yet overall, so I thought I’d post it up. I’m on the 2nd verse (0:51-1:29), and fellow Team WoMp member Noodles who came out to visit Los Angeles recently for the first time, is on the verse after me. Props to everyone involved, especially So Vicious for mixing it, and putting this together in a timely fashion. The beat is from Game ft. Anthony Hamilton’s – Hustlers Dream song.

Agentspits Hustlers Dream JBTV Collab Verse:
Thank god, I never had to hustle on the block
But I know dudes who aint got the luxury to stop
Every other day another run in with the cops
If he don’t get knocked, he gon’ get shot
He’s runnin out of time, so he don’t wanna wear a watch
But dont think for a second this is what he had planned
He’s just doin what he can to feed his daughter and his fam
Hustlin on the streets, he’s just tryin to be a man
He applies to jobs, but they don’t ever call him back
Plus the economy’s bad, but all he wants to do is rap
And he’s a talented cat, with the pen and and a pad
I know his hearts in the right place, he’s hopin for change
But he’s broke he needs change, so he’s doin the same
While pursuin this fame, in this music game
And I hope for his sake, that the dude gets paid
Before he ends up locked up or dead in a grave, it’d be a shame
Even though I told myself I would never join Twitter, I had to reconsider after seeing it start to blow up. It almost seems like a must at this point, and after giving it a chance, it is actually pretty cool. It’s simple as hell, and doesn’t take a lot of time to maintain, so I don’t see a reason not to have one. Plus it’s a good additional promo tool to have for my other site KarmaloopCodes.com, which is what made me decide to sign up in the first place. Follow me @ twitter.com/karmaloopcodes
Just ordered my first pair of Creative Recreation’s from Karmaloop. The Black/Red Dicoco Lo’s as pictured above. I don’t have a large shoe collection, but as of now the majority of my kicks are AF1’s. These shoes should fit nice in my life, especially since the majority of shirts I have are mainly black with white/red. I’ve been waiting to get a pair of their shoes, but most of the ones available didn’t fit my taste till I saw these. Can’t wait for them to show up on my doorstep! If you find a pair of Creative Rec’s that you want on Karmaloop, be sure to save using the karmaloop codes found at KarmaloopCodes.com
Went to the studio a couple nights ago, and I finally got a chance to take some pics wearing the XXX77 Hoody by Dissizit! I previously made a post about my purchase of the hoody that you can see here if you are intersted in checking it out.
